HOW LONG DOES A HAIR COLOURING APPOINTMENT TAKE?

hair colouring appointments can take a minimum of 2 hours, to as long as several sessions. before we schedule an appointment, all new clients must schedule a mandatory consultation. during this consultation, we will ask several questions to try and gauge how much time may be needed to achieve the look you want, how realistic your hair goals are, and a final quote.

these appointments can be long - we understand! we have plenty of coffee & tea to help you get through your appointment! food and snacks of your own are more than welcome!

WHAT IS A COLOUR CONSULTATION?

a colour consultation is a great way for you to meet and greet your stylist. during this appointment we will get info on the following:

  • what your hair is currently like, including texture, amount (density) and length

  • hair colour/chemical history

  • hair goals vs realistic expectations

  • quoting

we want to know it ALL! we will answer any of your questions that you may have and we’re sure you’ll leave your appointment feeling more educated!

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY HAIR TRIMMED/CUT?

we recommend getting your hair trimmed every 3-4 months. even if you’re trying to grow your hair, it is always a great idea to get frequent trims so that by the time it gets to the length you want it to be, it will be healthy and happy!

NOTHING can mend a split end except for a proper haircut.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

deposits | upon scheduling your colouring appointment, we require a $50 deposit to secure your appointment spot. the purpose of this deposit is to ensure you that we take your appointments just as seriously! this deposit will be deducted from your final appointment, unless you cancel last minute*, or no-show.

last minute cancellation* (75% of the appointment) | is defined as cancelling 48 hours or less before your appointment. this also includes if you contact us after 6pm on a Saturday for your upcoming Tuesday appointment (as we are closed on Sundays and Mondays).

late arrivals | 15 minutes or longer. these appointments may need to be rescheduled or amended as we block off a specific amount of time, just for you, to work our magic. In these circumstances, it will be deemed a last minute cancellation. we value every minute we spend with you and appreciate the mutual respect!

no-show (100% of the appointment) | not showing up to your appointment or notifying us before your appointment start time

these charges are strictly for stylist compensation purposes as they have lost income due to the cancellation, not for punishment purposes. no future appointments will be scheduled until all outstanding balances have been paid.
